when ferro-silicon and industrial silicon (silicon metal) are smelted, a large number of highly volatile sio2 and si gases are produced in the mineral thermal electric furnace. after gas discharge, they are formed by rapid oxidation, condensation and precipitation with air. it is the product of large-scale industrial smelting, and the whole process needs to be recycled with dusting environmental protection equipment, because the quality is relatively light, and also needs to be encrypted with encryption equipment.
in addition, it is also combined with free ca(oh) to form a stable calcium silicate hydrate (2cao, sio 2, h 2 o). the strength of this hydrate gel is higher than that of ca(oh) crystal, which is mainly shown in:
(1) increase strength. it greatly increases the compressive and flexural strength of concrete. when 5-10% microsilica is added, the compressive strength can be increased by 10-30% and the flexural strength can be increased by more than 10%.
(2) increase density. the performance of anti-permeability is improved by 5 to 18 times, and the ability of anti-seepage is increased by more than 4 times.
(3) frost resistance: the relative elastic modulus of micro microsilica is increased by 10-20% after rapid freezing and dissolution cycles of 300-500 times, while that of ordinary concrete is increased by 30-73% after 25-50 cycles.
(4) early strength: microsilica concrete shortens the induction period and has early strength characteristics.
(5) abrasion resistance and cavitation erosion control: compared with ordinary concrete, the abrasion resistance of micro-microsilica concrete is improved by 0.5-2.5 times, and its cavitation resistance is improved by 3-16 times.
