specific application of mcrosilica in the following engineering construction fields:
1. water conservancy and hydropower projects: hydraulic structures such as dam entrance sluice, water diversion channel, tunnel, pressure regulating well, lower structure of main plant (especially water machine volute), etc., make full use of silicone-powder concrete, which has good waterproof, anti-seepage, anti-scrubbing and anti-cavitation characteristics. since 1982, it has been widely used in the repair and maintenance projects of gezhou dam, dahuofang reservoir, yingxiuwan power station and longyangxia power station. at present, the application of microsilica concrete in ertan power station, zipingpu water conservancy project and xiaolangdi water conservancy project in yellow river has achieved good results.

5. shotcrete engineering: after adding microsilica into the concrete, the adhesive performance and cohesion of the plastic concrete have been significantly improved, the resilient amount has been greatly reduced, the thickness of the first forming of shotcrete has been increased, the construction period has been shortened, and the project cost has been saved. in europe and the united states, 75 percent of shotcrete is mixed with microsilica, while in norway and sweden, microsilica is a necessary ingredient for shotcrete.
