what problems should be paid attention to in the construction of microsilica?
1. dosage: generally 5-10% of the amount of cementitious material. the method of adding silica fume is divided into internal doping and external doping,
(1) in-mixing: under the premise of constant water addition, 1 part of silicon powder can replace 3-5 parts of cement (weight) and keep the compressive strength of concrete unchanged to improve other properties of concrete.
(2) external blending: the amount of cement is constant, and the addition of silica fume significantly improves the strength and other properties of the concrete. concrete has a certain slump loss when it is mixed with silica fume. this point needs to be taken care of in the mix ratio test. silica fume must be used in combination with a water reducing agent. it is recommended to mix fly ash and ground slag to improve its workability. when concrete is prepared from silica fume, the weight ratio to the cementitious material is generally:
(1) high performance concrete: 5-10%;
(2) hydraulic concrete: 5-10%
(3) shotcrete: 5-10%;
(4) pumping aid: 2-3%;
(5) wear-resistant industrial floor: 6-8%;
(6) polymer mortar and thermal insulation mortar: 10-15%,
(7) unshaped refractory castable: 6-8%. please select a reasonable and economical dosage through experiments according to actual needs before use.
the optimal dosage of microsilica : the amount of micro-silica powder in concrete is too small, and the performance of concrete is not improved much, but if the amount is too much, the concrete is too sticky, difficult to construct, and the shrinkage deformation is large, and the frost resistance is poor. therefore, when micro-silica powder is mixed, the optimum dosage should be found to obtain the best results. under normal circumstances, the effect is satisfactory within 10%. the appropriate dosage of micro-silica powder is generally selected according to the micro-silica powder used, the type of cement and the nature of the aggregate, and the amount of micro-silica powder is selected, such as 3, 5, 7, 10%, etc., forming concrete specimens, drawing r-sf the (strength-microsilica content) curve is determined. it is worth noting that the price of micro-silica powder is relatively high. when determining the optimal dosage of micro-silica powder, technical and economic indicators should also be considered.
4. construction safety: the construction safety of silica fume concrete should be strictly in accordance with the relevant national construction specifications of concrete engineering. however, due to the lighter silica fume, it is strictly forbidden to throw materials at high altitude to prevent the flying of silica fume.
