(1) the microsilica is used in the emergency repair of traffic road surface, and ordinary concrete is used to pour the road with extremely strong abrasion resistance. it takes 28 days for the road to be opened to traffic normally. generally, it takes 3 days for the strong concrete to be opened to traffic. repair by conventional means, often resulting in traffic disruption, resulting in serious economic losses. the application of microsilica powder concrete with early strength and abrasion resistance is ideal. the airport runway requires the use of concrete over 80mpa and has good abrasion resistance.
(2) industrial and civil engineering: the microsilica has the characteristics of early strength and high strength, which is widely used in industrial workshops and high-rise buildings. such as liaoning anshan international hotel c50 concrete, beijing tax building c110 concrete. it can not only increase the strength, reduce the section size, shorten the construction period, but also save the engineering cost.
(3) highway construction: make full use of the early strength, high strength and abrasion resistance of the microsilica, which can be used to build high-grade highways, airport runways, road tunnel and road surface repair projects. yizheng chemical fiber company built roads with silica powder concrete on the main road of the center of the factory. the compressive strength reached 25mpa in 12 hours, the abrasion resistance increased by 1 time, and the compressive strength reached 37mpa in 24 hours, exceeding the design requirement of c20 concrete.
(4) port, bridge, and salt water engineering: the microsilica has high density and high resistivity, which is not easy to form electrochemical damage and enhances rust resistance. the tsing ma bridge in hong kong, the timber pier in lianyungang in jiangsu province, and the yangtze river bridge in the temple of buddha in chongqing are successful examples.
(5) shotcrete engineering: after adding silica powder into the concrete, the adhesive performance and cohesion of the plastic concrete have been significantly improved, the resilient amount has been greatly reduced, the thickness of the primary forming of shotcrete has been increased, the construction period has been shortened, and the project cost has been saved. in europe and the united states, 75 percent of shotcrete is mixed with silica powder, while in norway and sweden, silica powder (silica dust) is a necessary material for shotcrete.
